Beech wood – it’s heavier and harder comparing to the red oak wood, its surface is thick and uniform. The colour is light, veining is straight and there are only few knots. It’s quite flexible and its resistance to impact is better than the one of the red oak, being a very compact and firm wood.

    Bought a pair new and one was delivered repaired yet still sold as new. The order was incomplete without the dome pictured. I was refused a return by the terms listed on the website. I am troubled that these issues were not resolved by customer service. Regretting ordering and maybe give second thoughts. They told me that the dome were cheap and I should be able to find them.

    Thank you for your review.
    We did indeed deliver a bisento that was slightly damaged and for this reason and because of the impossibility of exchanging it, we refunded the full item in total right away.
    This means: you got a bisento for no cost, which can still be used for some part of the training.
    We apologise for this: we have missed the damage to the top and the dome weren't present, which is true. And that's why we refunded 10 GPB extra so you can get the dome and have your bisento complete.
    The bisentos aren't sold as a pair so it's not possible to exchange or refund both items when one is in perfect conditions. For its incompleteness though, we refunded the extra money.
    I hope you'll understand we did all we could and once again, we apologise for the inconvenience.

    Excellent training weapon and a great addition to my "armoury" instead of using a bo as a substitute yari. Just underestimated the length or overestimated the height of my ceilings so it's for outdoor training only

We accept most major credit and debit cards through our payment gateway Paypal. Credit/debit card payments are taken at point of order on all sales. We also require the cardholder's full details including name, address and telephone number when accepting a credit/debit card payment. These must match the exact details registered with the card issuer. Incomplete or incorrect details will result in a delay in processing your order. In the event we are unable to fulfill an order due to insufficient stock, the customer will be notified of the delay and, should this prove unsuitable, a full refund will be given.

If you are not happy with the items you bought, you have fifty days cooling-off period to return the unwanted products. This begins the day after you receive your goods. The items must still be in perfect conditions, as new, not being used and possibly in their original package. You must send pictures proving the item is in perfect conditions before you send it back. You can ship the order to the address we’ll give you at your cost choosing the courier you prefer,  or you can ask for the pick up service and we’ll send our courier to collect the package, always at your cost (please see the following paragraph). You will receive a full refund for the cost of the items returned. This does not apply to custom or made-to-order items. This is in accordance with your statutory rights.

REFUNDS

A refund can take an estimated 3 working days to be processed and a further 3 working days to clear banking systems. If you have requested a refund, please allow this time scale to pass (after receiving the refund confirmation email) before contacting us to confirm the refunds status. 

Warning: DHL EXPRESS shipping fee won’t be refunded under no circumstances since it’s an extra service required by the client and it is not included in any kind of promotions.

Product Exchanges & Returns - 50 Days

Please contact us (info@katanamart.shop) within 50 days after your order has been marked as "delivered" according to your tracking number. You have to send pictures of the product you want to return under any circumstances. If your refund/exchange is approved, you will be given an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number), along with instructions to complete your return. Items must be returned in unused, unaltered, and undamaged condition in the original packaging. 

Refund will be made in the same method of payment used to make your purchase.

FAULTY RETURNS

Products delivered which are 'damaged' should be notified within 24 hours from the delivery date and you must provide pics od the damage and a description of the flaws. If there are real damages or flaws, we will arrange the collection of the goods at our expenses. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault you will be offered either a replacement, a repair or a full refund, providing the item is complete with all accessories and in its original box and packaging. If the product is not deemed faulty the goods will be returned to you. In this case you will be liable for both the uplift and return carriage charge. This returns policy does not affect the buyer's statutory rights.
