Placing an order on our website you’ll automatically accept our terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. We can change the price and the availability of any kind of product without prior notice at any time. Each item or service on the website can be withdraw from sale without previous notice.
All goods will remain the sole property of katanamart.shop until payment is received in full.
If an ordered product cannot be supplied for any kind of reason, we will offer an alternative model (if available) or we’ll refund you completely. Our prior interest is to satisfy the customer’s need.

Most of the products supplied on this website are in stock, but some items are made to order. However, an estimated dispatch time is given on each product.
MANY CUSTOM PRODUCTS ARE MADE BY OUR CRAFTSMEN ONCE THE ORDERED IS PAYED, AND IN THIS CASE, THEY MAY HAVE A LONGER DELIVERY TIME THAN NORMAL ORDERS. Katanamart.shop has made a big effort to ensure that all product information held on this website is precise:
a) The products are exactly as shown on the pictures. The photos are taken in a professional studio and are not affected by Photoshop adjustment layers
b) Many of our products (Katana swords/Iaito swords/ Custom swords and bokkens) are handmade, that’s why the real weight could differ +/-6% from the weight specified on the data sheet and the length can differ +/-2% from the length specified on the data sheet
English Law forbids katanaamrt.shop to sell anything deemed to be a weapon - such as a sword, axe or dagger to anybody under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18 we will not process your order.
We take our obligation to uphold this law seriously.
When you buy a sword on this website you are confirming that you are of age. In addition to this, purchased weapons may be followed up with the request of a telephone call, to ensure the weapons are not being sold to anyone under the age of 18 years old. If this process is pursued, katanamart.shop holds the right to delay the order until the satisfactory circumstances has been met.
Please note: you do not have to be 18 years old to purchase clothing, armour, wooden items , LARP Weapons, or anything not deemed a weapon
PLACING AN ORDER
By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and allowing us to use your personal data with the only purpose to supplying those goods (Including passing your details to the couriers and to other subcontractors). All online orders are confirmed as received by sending an auto-generated e-mail. We reserve the right to decline your order.
We will contact you by telephone or by email regarding delivery, delays or security issues. We will not be responsible for compensating you for any other loses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. By purchasing any product or item you are thereby agreeing to these terms and conditions.
In the event that the Kake supplied as a gift with certain products are not in stock we will send a gift of an equivalent value.
We pride ourselves on being as competitive as possible with our prices. If a product is advertised at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or a supplier error we reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order whether or not said order has been confirmed. In such a case you’ll be contacted and a full refund will be given if required.
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128-bit encryption. Thereafter payment is collected through our online credit card processing partners, Paypal.

We accept most major credit and debit cards through our payment gateway Paypal. Credit/debit card payments are taken at point of order on all sales. We also require the cardholder's full details including name, address and telephone number when accepting a credit/debit card payment. These must match the exact details registered with the card issuer. Incomplete or incorrect details will result in a delay in processing your order. In the event we are unable to fulfill an order due to insufficient stock, the customer will be notified of the delay and, should this prove unsuitable, a full refund will be given.

Every order placed on katanamart.shop is subject to a security check. These checks are carried out to protect both you and us against fraudulent transactions. Therefore all information entered by you must match the information held by the card issuer.
Supplying incorrect or incomplete information will result in a delay in processing your order. If we are unable to confirm the identity of a customer we may carry out further security checks that may delay the processing of your order. As the supplier we reserve the right not to supply goods if we are unable to reach a satisfactory conclusion to a security check. We may occasionally ask you to fax, post or email further proof of identity. We may ask the customers to supply their credit/debit card details to carry out a further security check as well.

If you are not happy with the items you bought, you have fifty days cooling-off period to return the unwanted products. This begins the day after you receive your goods. The items must still be in perfect conditions, as new, not being used and possibly in their original package. You must send pictures proving the item is in perfect conditions before you send it back. You can ship the order to the address we’ll give you at your cost choosing the courier you prefer, or you can ask for the pick up service and we’ll send our courier to collect the package, always at your cost (please see the following paragraph). You will receive a full refund for the cost of the items returned. This does not apply to custom or made-to-order items. This is in accordance with your statutory rights.
Product Exchanges & Returns – 14 days
Please contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 14 days after your order has been marked as "delivered" according to your tracking number. You have to send pictures of the product you want to return under any circumstances. If your refund/exchange is approved, you will be given an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorization Number), along with instructions to complete your return. Items must be returned in unused, unaltered, and undamaged condition in the original packaging.
Refund will be made in the same method of payment used to make your purchase.
The customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
DELIVERY OUTSIDE EUROPE:
The addressee has to pay the shipping cost always. Free shipping promotions are not applied in Countries outside Europe. Moreover, if the client doesn’t like the product he bought and wants to send it back in order to get a refund or change the item within 14 days of receipt, he/she must pay the full cost of return
We will pay the shipping cost only if the product is damaged or if it’s different from the pictures loaded on the website.
Products delivered which are 'damaged' should be notified within 24 hours from the delivery date and you must provide pics od the damage and a description of the flaws. If there are real damages or flaws, we will arrange the collection of the goods at our expenses. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault you will be offered either a replacement, a repair or a full refund, providing the item is complete with all accessories and in its original box and packaging. If the product is not deemed faulty the goods will be returned to you. In this case you will be liable for both the uplift and return carriage charge. This returns policy does not affect the buyer's statutory rights.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
If goods arrive in a damaged conditions you must make a note of this on the couriers delivery consignment note and contact us immediately.
Delivery Returns of Orders
Due to a large influx of failed deliveries we will be sending our packages by UPS, DPD and DHL. If the two delivery attempts fail, the package will be sent back to us and in this case we hold the right to re-charge shipping fee as it’s expensive sending those goods out again once they have been returned. Our re-charged payments will typically be made through Paypal and the products will not be re-sent until the second payment is made for the second delivery.
Shortages and In-Correct Goods
If you are delivered the wrong product please note this on the couriers delivery consignment note and contact us immediately.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that what they are signing for is indeed the item bought. Shortages must be noted on the courier's delivery consignment note and you must contact us immediately.
If you order a product that is out of stock or delayed from the manufacturer we will contact you to make you aware of this situation when not already specified on the website. If the written, “product out of stock, pre-sale” appears it means the item is not in stock but can be bought and reserved by the customer. An estimated delivery date will be always given. The time scales quoted on such products are estimated time scales. If you don’t feel like waiting you can cancel the order and ask for a total refund.
WARRANTY 2 YEARS SPECIFICATIONS: the manufacturer covers whatever structural damage suffered by the item for two years time. The DAMAGE must be recorded by pictures and written details for the object to be replaced. If the problem was caused by wear or by a wrong use of the item, it can’t be replaced but it will be evaluated for a certain amount of money, different from case to case.
Blade damage is guaranteed only if the sword has been used properly; the correct use has to be proved by a certificate showing the participation to a Tameshighiri or Battodo course or to another kind of school recognized in UK or in Europe.
Swords can be disassembled ONLY by experts and authorized people. We don’t respond of the damages caused by clients who disassemble swords without our assistance and authorization.
The seller will always try and MEET THE POLITE AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS’ NEEDS, taking into account also that cases not considered by the manufacturer or by the brand.
